Fig fert 4-6-8 Question?

I know alot has been written on the topic for fert., and I'm not trying to take away from the valuable info of Al, Dan, Deisler, etc., but I noticed the Baud nursery in France suggests a fert with ratios like 4-6-8 and I also noticed Espoma Tomato fert has that type of ratio and also high on calcium and other elements in similar ratio to espoma citrus mix but higher and less on the N. Has anyone had any luck with such a fert. program, used Espoma Tomato with any success?

Also, what fert do you guys use to help grow the figs once they're started on the plant?

Timothy
