    Hello Giuseppe

My grandfather was born in the town of Soveria Mannelli, and I've been there twice - years ago. I currently have 8 fig trees growing in pots in Mountain Top, PA. I would absolutely love to purchase /trade for a cutting or rooted cutting from the Fico Nero di Soveria Mannelli.

I just sent you an email.

    Hope to hear from you.

Congrats Giuesppe. Very good to know there are more good variants from Europe growing in North America. I have slightly over 10 variants that originated from Europe. My tiny E'pean collection are from people I know mostly in Canada.

How did you get it thro' customs? Did you have to declare it? Mostly they don't allow plants/seeds/cuttings from outside of USA into the country. Most curious.

    trivedi,
usually custom never say anything about cuttings no roots,
it probaly ok,do not know what the law is,at worst they will take the cuttings.Today I received a small rooted fig
    from a friend in Rome,got here fine.Ciao,
