| I just planted a fig tree about a month ago. Lately, I noticed yellow spots on the leaves. Also, since I planted it seems like it's not growing. It did much better in the pot before transferring it to the ground. Any suggestions.

| I think this brown spots is rust infection. The Fungi is very bad this year not only for figs but for host of trees. I noticed some brown spots on my fig trees too and I an spraying copper. ALTHOUGH THE RUST IS NOT HATMFULL TO THE FIG FRUIT my trees are very green and healthy and I hate rust. You can remove the infected leaves and dispose away. Your tree is not doing good in the ground because the root got a chuck it will do good next next year. |

| I would like to say this: I have found that the rust that gets on my fig trees late summer to early fall gives an off flavor to the figs. The skins taste musty. noss |
