Hey guys, I bought this flf at ikea a few weeks ago. It came with two plants and I separated them since they were a bit pot bound. It was also cut at the top when I got it. Anyways since I'm a novice when it comes to plants I was wondering how long it would take for my plant to bud or if it even can since the tip appears to be cut wrong?

I have it in filtered light at an east facing window and it has adequate drainage. It wasn't in the best shape when I got it. Each plant only has 6 or 7 leaves on it but I'm hoping I can nurse it back to health.
