I lost my only fig

I had One Fig on the little tree. I was waiting for it to ripen. Unfortunately my Clumsy Grandson cut it. He thought it is ready. He did not mean bad he just wanted to taste it. To my surprise he ate it green. It suppose to be Brown. I will wait to next season I will have 3 trees producing.

You remind me of my son when he was little. I planted a Jonathan apple tree and after three years it was loaded with little green apples. Yes, while I was at work he climbed it and picked all he could reach (all except 3)when they were green and golf ball sized. He was so proud of them when I got home, I couldn't be mad. There's always next year.
