Two of my trees in pots after the main crop in summer they started to produce little green figs. I know I don't have remaining time enough in the season for this fig to ripen. If I take the pots inside the warm house and put out outside when sunny can that help the trees to ripen the figs. I have about 18 figs on both trees may be 1 inch diameter.

I found today several figs turned color from green to pink and getting ready to ripen. The weather is unusually warm. My GF called Indian summer. My trees are getting daily 9 hours of nice sun and I started to water again. A friend of mine told me three months dormancy is more than enough. The commercial growers in California don't get that much and their trees are healthy.

I am bringing the trees inside the house during the night while the temperature is dropping and taking them out of the house outside in the sun/ the green figs are turning pink and some are red. It is a dumb task but that is the best I can do
