I don't know if you would be interested but in my foraging route I have come across an old fig that must be 50 years old growing in limestone scree near Austin. It is a light fig with very red flesh and beyond delicious. If you would like I would be very glad to get and send some cuttings to you. email me at landscapewitch@gmail.com

Thanks Gene. I got your email and will send you some cuttings too. The more I look at them the more I think they are good old wonderful "Adriatic" and without mosaic! I found them at the tail end of the main crop and don't know about the breba.
I look forward to learning more and more from this wealth of knowledge and experience on this site. And eating more figs!
