Nothings wrong. I'd say that's that's pretty normal for a newly planted small fig when it's hot. It looks good and is growing roots. Next yr you can expect more top growth. Right now root growth is as important as top growth.

If you really need more top growth right now you need to apply more water and fertilizer. Don't water more often rather wet a larger area once or twice a week. Make sure it's wetting down at least a foot. That soil looks awfully sandy, dry, and infertile.

I'd build a basin around the tree about 3-4ft diameter and use the basin to hold water. Some mulch would help as well.
