This tree, Ronde de Bordeaux, has been my most vigourous by FAR. The pic of the tree is in a previous post under my user name "gplainshoya". I would say that my Chicago Hardy and LSU purples are a close 2nd...my Violette de Bordeaux (VDB) has not even started fruiting yet. I think the heat wave activated a dormant mosaic virus which inhibited the fruiting...this is ODD because it was my largest tree, and my Ronde was the smallest. Now the Ronde is the Largest! This thing is super vigourous! Super prolific. I will probably offer cuttings or rooted cuttings on E**y soon.
