Just want to share this big Fig from North, China

I am kind of new for growing figs, but I am so happy to harvest my figs this year, super sweet, and the size is the large than any varieties on the market about 5.5 inches around.light pink inside.
I could call the fig--Fengtai, China since it was came from one of local farm two years ago as bareroot.

I still have many green figs on the tree, but my zone 6 is cool down into Autumn now, Should I pick all the figs? or just leave them on the tree?
I have photos saved on photo bucket, but forgot how to post here, any instructions?

Thanks in advance
Wendy

hello Wendy, take them all off except 3 or 4 figs and those should ripen up for you. would you like to trade a few cuttings from your fig tree for a few from the cultivars I have. please shoot me an email if interested.

Yep, them are big figs. Never seen them here before in Florida.

Super sweet is always great, but how's the flavor?
Must be nice.

In zone 6, the season is winding down. I'd suggest you pick anything still on the tree the day before the first freeze, but there are a lot of fig growers up there who know from experience. Some of them should chime in shortly.

Thanks everyone,
I got a lot of suggestion, I'll pinch down most of them, keep a small amount for the season. It is cold in the night, and a lot of dew in the morning since I am close to sea, hope I get more for this year, cannot wait for next year,
I don't sure my local is 6 or higher, (zip 11801).I always follow zone 6 schdule to plant my other veggies, so I should do as zone 7. I'll jump start as 7 growers.
