Yes I recognise it :it is DFIC 17 Brown Turkey from UCD Collection.Not a bad fig but bad for me because,i like them overripe and this cultivar will spoil inside if left too long on branch to get ripe properly.
For example for me your fruits were not ripe,but at this stage they are not spoilled yet.

I planted a fig tree 5 years ago,now it is 7 feet tall and finally began to give figs but they are dry on the inside and don't mature naturally on my tree?
I live in Southern California
Some people tell me the tree needs more water others tell me fig trees don't need much water?
What can I do to eat figs from this tree!!?

Milu,:it needs a cable around at base and pull it with your truck or car hooking it at the tow hook.
Your fig is cauducous and need polination.

If it is 5 years with no edible figs I see you do not have to wait no more because it will be even more depressing,if you wait like someone here on this forum for 30 years and finally after 30 years the fig fruitted good figs.
Probably it took 30 years for the fig wasp to arrive in his area,and finally polinate his fig.
