A friend of mine and a forum member I believe as figcollector, is moving from his house into a condo and has quite a few old Belleclare trees he bought from them that must go. One tree, a petite negri, is at least 25 years old and boy what a fantastic fig this plant produces! I know this was a great year for vdb and most other figs but these were special. He must get rid of seedless gansey, Italian everbearing, white Barese, peters honey, Long Island Green, Degrossen (Austrian fig), Texas everbearing, atreano, a braided 3 fig combinaton of pops, atreano and another Italian variety. He has a few others and his e-mail is tknational@yahoo.com I know selling is not allowed on the forum but for those in the area looking for an instant fig orchard, this is a great place to start. He was nice enough to let me sample all these varieties. I felt like I was at the old BC nursery.
