Should I up-pot this?

It's been growing fast, and is getting tall for the pot. Should I prune it back so it'll spread out more and not get so tall? Or put it in a larger pot? Thanks,

As is, is fine.

You may 'pinch' the top-tip just for more branching.

Once you decide to pot-up, score the root-ball top-to-bottom
to avoid any 'circling' roots.

My goal is to eventually have this plant in a pot that's twice as wide and 1.5 as deep as the current pot. Would it be better to do that now, or wait until the plant is larger?

Yes, you can pot-up now.
I see roots coming out from one of the drain holes.
