It looks like it could be Latarolla.... Latarulla/Italian Honey fig would have a more amber interior.

What is your location and when was the picture taken? I think it looks like desert king. The answer to these 2 questions would be very helpful.

Northern California, about 30 minutes north of San Francisco, just south of the sonoma county line.

I took the pictures last evening. Of note, it has been a relatively cool summer.

I would make two educated guesses here.

1) You live in Novato.

2) Its a Desert King.

To me they are a kinda creamy cross between casaba, banana and honey. Love the crunch of the seeds too. Of course we don't have the fig wasp here. Because of this I never get a main crop fig to ripen but the brebas are really good.

After the breba crop comes in, in 2011 I will be pulling three large desert Kings. I just can't stand the mess from all the main crop figs that refuse to ripen. That and I would prefer to have fig trees that produce both a breba and main crop in Arizona.

Alma fig/ Italian Honey ... I got mine from Paradise Nursery. Mine does well in the cold and is about 15 feet tall now.
