My fig tree which I bought this year and repotted is dropping its keaves. Firstly they are turning brown starting at the edges and eventually falling off . The new buds seem to have brown tips too. I water about once a week as I live in the Canary Islands which is hot and humid without much rain. It's not in full sun all day. The garden center where I bought it said it should be in the ground and not in a pot. I don't want to do that as I'm in rented accommodation and would not be able to take it if I move. I felt the soil on the bottom of the pot and its not dry. Please can anyone help as I don't want to lose it.
