Good to know I'm not the only one here that does fig preserves.

They make the greatest gifts, too. Have you seen a jar of fig jam in stores? If and when you find them, you will pay between 6 and 10 dollars for about a 10 ounce jar. And even then, they are usually made from dried figs >P . Fresh is so much better!

i gave my parents a 12oz jar and they said Figs preserves around here are $10 for a 10oz. they said the preserves looked like honey in a jar.
