Be Careful

This morning i ordered big bag of Perlite and was told Ups would have it delivered to home in 3 days.

Great !

This afternoon i get an email from > a zip file and i download to folder and open it.

BAM

my scanner says trogan so and so file was removed.

I then go back to folder and scan it and scanner say its clean, ok now im curious i know my scanner is decent so i dont worry and i open folder again

Its some sort of file wih exe in it.

Sure enough its been going around.

Wierd that this happened the day i placed an order t5o be delivered by UPS ?

I know some of you members will or have been ordering plants and such .

Just be Careful if you get email from

client @ups.com with a parcel number in the subject line.

I was lucky and hope this may help others who may order fig plants or perlite etc etc for there hobby.

Thanks Martin. Isn't it pathetic that some people have to be destructive like that, for fun! I wish there was a way to do a reverse zap on them and short-circuit them out. I bet they'd scream about that.

I have gotten a few emails recently from ups in my junk file but never opened them because I had not ordered anything.

I'm glad it worked out for you and didn't harm your computer.

I just can not understand the mentality of those who get their pleasure from hurting other people. I have an email system which thinks every thing is junk. So I scan my Junk email and only save the ones from people I know and the rest is deleted.
Every day I receive 100 emails from people who want to sell me drugs and Viagra. Don't these people get a day off.
