If you read the FAQ page, it becomes somewhat clear as to what this website is really about. Substitute the word fig for another three letter word starting with "f" and ending in "g". It's a play on words that they REALLY took out into left field somewhere! LOL! I can't tell if it's actually done by a fundamentalist with some pretty nonfundamentalist-humor, or a gay, witty person, posing as a fundamentalist to make fun of christians eating figs as a way to protest! LOL!

I think the purpose is just what the author did...confuse people as to what they were really talking about. It is funny though...but NOT something you'd typically find in a southern baptist church!! So I question the validity of that aspect right off the bat. Probably some wanna-be stand-up comic having some fun, (who is maybe gay?). LOL!

I read the trash and then read it again but this time I replaced fig with apple as in ADAM AND EVE start. Sounded different useing apple, but better in a way. What else could we replace fig with.
