A short while ago, James Robin called to tell me that his beloved wife, Miss Betty, had passed away around 1:00pm today. I don't have any details yet, but will pass them along as James gives them to me.

He loves her so much and always tells Mike and me what a good woman she is. He has his favorite photo of her for his computer wallpaper.

Mike and I enjoyed many hours visiting with James and Miss Betty since getting to know them and the last time I was there, she was so happy. When I was ready to leave, I went over to her for one of her wonderfully sweet hugs and she took my hands and started swinging them in time with her singing. She laughed out loud and I got an extra wonderfully sweet hug from her that day. It's a great memory to have of her. She had Alzheimers, but still loved to visit and talk with us. Her sweetness came through despite her illness and we are richer for having gotten to know her. She always knew that she loved James and had special smiles for him and many kisses.

She will be missed.
