Fig leaf problem

Can anyone help me with what's going on with my fig tree? I kind of thought blight but the symptoms don't seem to match. There Is one small blight looking spot on one of the leaves. I had the same problem with my zucchini and it got so bad that I had to pull it up. We have not been extra dry here, if anything we've had quite a bit of rain lately. However the soil around the tree is not muddy. Actually it is mulched.

Have seen that earlier this season with our inground HC as we had an abundance of rain during that period.
As season marched along new sets of leaves grew just fine.

You did mention mulch which can hold in the water perhaps
too much with lots of rainfall and not let the soil dry properly.
