There are some varieties that ripen very late. I have a Lebanese fig called Shtawi that ripens around Christmas time and is very productive.
I'm sure there are a few very late Italian varieties such as Natalina that ripen so late.

one way i use to post pictures is called "photobucket"

If you choose

Go to website and create account -it is free !
screen name + password
Link to it below.

Once account is created make sure you sign in
then
in photobucket click upload now - it will or might say select photo's or video - click that
in that window look for your fig picture to upload and click.

Once uploaded to photobucket you will see your picture appear, move your mouse under picture slowly and some codes appear , copy and paste the 3rd line only " Html" code into
garden web message box and it will appear once you hit preview or post if you like.

If you decide to try and have difficulty just ask i help.

Bass, may be is Shtawi, is not Natalino (that produces in third fruiting), this is in second fruiting.
In Italian the three fruitigs are
1) Fiorone (breba)
2) Fornito or Pedagnolo (true-fig)
3) Natalino o Cimaruolo (third)
Pedagnolo and Cimaruolo mean respectively: at the basis (of the new branches) and to the apex (of the new branches).
As known the brebas sprouts on the apex of the OLD branches(of the before year).

This is a true (second) fig, large, good, needs long summer, in my region if also in extremely sunny site is to the limit.

Unfortunately I've only 1 (one) cutting. See you at the end of the next year, for this.
