If you have possibility to take cuttings later is better.
If you have to take now, no problem, take the cuttings top of the branches; lenght one foot.
Remove leaves (VERY IMPORTANT), if there are. If the cutting is intermediate sign the upper side by a cut at 45 degrees (Condit' Convention), do it WHEN cut !!!!.
Collect the stems in bunches, and bury for 3/4 of lenght in cold, wet soil of garden.
If you can already prepare the nursery, plant buried in the same way, the distance between the individual stems 6" between rows 12".
Do the same if you find rooted shoots.

For my experience is better top of branches.

In winter do not do anithing, in summer water if climate is dry.
(I suppose that climate in winter do not drops lower than 25ðF).
In late fall of next year, the rooted plant are ready to be putted on site.
