Fig recipe: Figs in Grand Marnier?

A friend told me about this today. Soak fresh figs in Grand Marnier [orange flavored liquor] to cover. Wait a week or as long as you can. Eat as is, or dress them up. Being impatient, I think I'll try it with some of this year's dried figs.

Tomatobob, sounds like that might be nice. I have the Grand Marnier but no fresh figs. I'll have to wait until next year.
