One question I have is:

Can I keep dormant fig trees in unheated shed? Or that is too cold? I normally winter the pots in attached garage, which is warmer since it is attached.

Redsun have seen our fig plants turn yellow before curling and dropping but depends on the fall season temps.

Sudden hard freezes seem to make them look bad from the onset where as moderately fall dropping temps make them display yellow.
Thats been my observation over the years.

As for the shed years back kept a few in there that perished , have had less problems storing in our attached garage on cement floor .
