I started this Fig cutting on 10/9/12 and now a month later this is what it looks like. should i leave exposed roots or should i add some soil to cover roots?

Hi,

I would agree with wisner.
A fig expert told me "the easiest way to
kill a fig is to water it too much",
so make sure you don't do that!

How long is the cutting?
It looks so short!
