| yes 'temperate' is a relative word, however at high latitude like this it is the correct word to use. NZ climate is strongly oceanic, the summers and winters are both moderated by comparatively small landmass and huge ocean areas. USDA zone 10, but there is probably nowhere in USA with a zone 10 climate that gets as little summer heat as we do except perhaps parts of the N. California coast. |
