Apple Trees

I know this isnt the right forum for it, but I'm so excited to see how my fig cuttings are going to turn out, I wanted to see if it would work with other fruit trees. Anyone know if you could do it with apples or pears? And if so, where one might be able to get cuttings from those trees?
