green fig cuttings

I Finally received my order of fig cuttings and am disappointed to receive 2 green ends and they look they are almost dryed out.
I am soaking them now and will try and get them to grow and root.
Would appreciate any information on how to best get these green cuttings to root this time of year. (it is winter here in canada).

Green cuttings root just as well as brown ones. If they were really dried out, that may be a problem. Hopefully they will hydrate for you and plump back up. Sometimes the green end will have a thin "dried out" appearance though and that is just the way they look.

Assuming these are dormant green cuttings, you would use the same process to root green as you would use for brown lignified cuttings.

Thanks your message made me more optimistic.
I now have them in a plastic shoe box with some moss and perlite. Got my fingers crossed.
