((((((((AMBER)))))))))) dang it girl, I was worried about you! I am so very glad to see you back! I am saddened to hear about Mom. God bless her. I hope she finds comfort and peace. Hospice here was wonderful for my Mother. Please call me if I can do anything. I miss you sweetheart.

Sh is not doing so well, her kidneys are failing, but she is comfortable and seems happy. So far, Hospice has been wonderful, but it's a stressful time. I thought I would be coming home today, but she is doing so poorly that I'll be staying a few days longer.

It is good to hear your 'voice' again!
You know, I went through a similar thing with my Mom earlier last year. Started with the fall and FX hip, then progressed to hospice and the natural end. Even though hospice gives you a sense of peace, it is so difficult to watch someone so important to you slip away.
