Anniversaries and love

My husband and I had a great time tonight as we celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary and all of my friends and his family said it wouldn't last a year. We showed them!

We had dinner at Chef Mickey's at Disney where I work and things could not have been better. All the servers came over to wish us a happy birthday as did all my co-workers in the photography end and the head chef sent out a plate with 8 bon bon candies with a chocolate heart enclosing them. He snet special down to the first floor to get it for us. That is something that people generally order on a rare occasion and not something the chef does out of love. It really made our night. Then the characters all came and fawned over my husband and had their picture taken with him and signed our picture and gave me hugs and kisses. My hubby said he really enjoyed the night.

This is how much he loves me - we are going to get cow manure, muclh and a few plants tomorrow for my garden. How is that for true love? He said he has never seen a woman who would rather have cow manure than a nice nittie. I said the nittie would be for you -- the cow manure is for my babies. He just laughed and kissed me. I got electric sculpting hedge ckuppers for Christmas. He does spoil me. Now I am requesting a riding tractor lawn mower. Yeah, when I win the lottery. I want a Kabota. Hey, just give me 10 acres and a Kabuta and I would be happy as a lark.

Just had to share. I will be starting a lot of rare seeds soon if anyone wants a bavy for one of the swaps I will post a list soon. Linda

Congratulations Lee and Linda! It sounds like you had a wonderful evening.
I'm with you forget the nighties and bling give me things I can use. Even better give me a couple hours of your time in the yard.

How wonderful!!! Some things just don't get better than that. I just had to read your posting outloud to my DH. He's always going on about how I'm the only girl he knows who preferrs dirt under her nails to polish on them.

Last night I watched "Hope Floats" with Sandra Bullock. It made me realize Dennis and I have been together almost 10 years now. It was the the Garth Brooks song in that movie that was the connection between us. "...I'd go crawling down the avenue, to make you feel my love.." Linda, love and partnership and more love is what life is all about babe. I am so glad it brought you and Lee 8 years....MANY MORE M'DEAREST!

Congratulations Linda and Lee! It sounds like your celebration was very happy and filled with lots of love.

My DH knows I like dirt, flowers, etc. rather than other things also.

Thanks to each of you for your blessings, well wishes and sharing. It means so much to know someone cares and feels the way you do. What are some of the romantic things you have done for your anniversaries? Do share. In Sebring I had over 90 roses that my hubby gave me for everything due to us having used the ceremony of the rose as part of our wedding. Linda

We celebrate the anniversary of our first date (Memorial Day). It will be 30 years this year and married 25. Where does the time go... Before we moved to FL we went back to the same restaurant. We usually cook at home now.

That is wonderful and very romantic Marion. I wish you lived closer to me as I would love to treat you and your hubby to a special dinner here at Disney. You know how I love to share that time with people. Linda
