I went there while vacationing in Fla a few years back.

I think it was touted as Florida's largest book store at the time.

It really was a special place... I thought it was really unique, and had a certain charm to it.

Yes, Haslam's is a great book store! My favorite too. It's been reported that the ghost of local resident Jack Kerouac visits there too and moves his books to end aisles where they can be more easily seen.
