We were there in April for a school field trip and we loved it. Its one of our favorite theme parks. The gardens are spectacular too. I saw a cotton tree and the loveliest red flower tree.

I haven't been there in about 20 years! But an employee services group my company belongs to is have a meeting there in August, with access to the gardens for attendees. I'm hoping I get to go!

Let me know how it is. I'm holding off for now with the heat. We went to Mt. Dora for a weekend and that was nice, but you have to either own a boat or be an antiques nut. That place is heaven for antique lovers!!

I'd be happy going to the beach every weekend, but my DH wants to go "somewhere"! We are amusement park fanatics, but since the back surgery and the heart problems, that's out of the question. The back surgeon said only steel coasters, but the heart doc looked at me like I was nuts when I asked if I could go on coasters! They just don't understand us coaster lovers!

If you go to MT Dora they hav e s different festival just about every weekend.The plant one we went to was undecribably AWESOME I think it is in Nov.
We are planning a Cypress Gardens trip in the fall also.
