I know, I know, I'm really late in getting these up.

Don't let anyone tell you breeding dogs is easy and profitable! These 3 pups cost me $6000, and I kept them all.

They have gone from 2 lbs to 110-145 in 6 months.

Eric is our *big* boy, with a meltingly gentle, goofy personality. He gave us a bad scare at 10 days old when he aspirated milk. 2 days at the ER, $1500 later, he was home and has been great ever since.

Becca is our gorgeous, firey, brave, loving gal who gets the "Zoomies" daily which causes her to run crazy laps around the property.

Luv Muffin is our poor sweet Brindle that is lucky to be alive. At 5 days old, her left ear was bitten off by my coworker's dachshund. At 8 weeks old her face was crushed by a Rescue dog I had taken in. She required multiple surgeries and bone grafts to repair her upper jaw. Now her upper jaw is not growing, so she is undershot. It looks very cute now, but will give her problems in the future. At 3 months old she was attacked again, by an adult Mastiff that had always been great with pups. Again she was injured in the face. She is playful, cuddly, outgoing, and we cannnot figure out why other dogs want to hurt her..

I wouldn't take a million bucks for them!

Wow! I knew you had dogs but now I SEE you have dogs! I love the picture with 3 dogs belly up on the kitchen floor! What a hoot. Thanks for sharing.

OH HOW CUTE! Thanks for posting pictures of them Lisa, I've been looking for them. I must say that's a lap full of love there and then some!

Lisa, I wanted to cry when you spoke about muffin...she is such a cutie as are the others...but her story has stolen my heart. I would never want to leave home if I was surrounded by so much dog :-)

You know my youngest son's top jaw quit growing at about 8,they call it maxillary dysplasia I think.We were going to do surgery but he refused and he still grew up to be a handsome hunk.
Our neighbor has a mastiff. What a masterpiece!

just gorgeous Lisa. there is a mastiff-looking dog around the corner that my beasts are desperate to meet. My still crazy pup actually lay down in the middle of the street to try to coax this guy down to him (not sure why he was out off the leash.) He's not as thick as yours, but has that mastiff-looking face, and was clearly a head taller than either of my guys, who are 85 and 95 pounds (the aging lab is waaaay too fat, but the epilepsy drugs do that.)

We still haven't figured out what the pup is. Best guess is part Dane. He's built like a Dane, but never broke the 100-pound barrier like we were expecting. And there's something different about his face, though I can't quite say what. Something a little beagleish about the face.

He is finally becoming a good dog, after 12 months of barking at the neighbors, tearing up couch pillows the minute we left the house and eating remote controls. Or maybe we're just better parents. There are no more couch pillows, the remote is always hidden right before we leave, and, well, actually he has gotten better about barking at the poor patient neighbors.
