OH MY FRIENDS!!!! The horror of this sight! LOL! I'll send for the vet! Call the TV stations and the police, or at the very least Don Featherstone, creator and father of millions of plastic flamingos!

I don't believe it was the bird flu though. I imagine it was the work of some deranged neighborhood beautification society. :) These are SICK people with NO sense of humor!! They believe all yards should look the same, with all the flowers lined up in neat rows and of a uniform color and height. Very Dangerous! Be on the lookout for these fiends!!

I followed the link, laughed, and sent it to everyone! I love it. I hope my 2 flamingoes survive it. They were the first things I bought for the yard when I moved here 5 yrs. ago. Neighbors that moved in 2 houses down bought them, too. One of the cable channels did a whole story on them once, about how a homeowner's assoc. tried to get rid of them, so everyone got them.

Did you know they sell white ones and call them snomingoes? They are for the winter. I think they're on Ebay.
