| Does anyone know if Brevard county has some sort of mosquito control? I cant believe how bad the mosquitos are here!

| They should. Hard to keep up with all the rain, I'm sure. Look under your local county government listings. There should be a number for mosquito control and abatement. If not, call the general county number and ask. They spray regularly around here, and the mosquitoes are still horrid! You'd think with all the frogs around here, the tadpoles would eat the larvae, but no such luck. |

| Long term, spreying for mosquitos makes the mosquitos worse, not better. |

| This year seems to be a mosquito haven. I can't even walk outside without getting bite. Went outside for less than 10 mintues to turn the sprinklers off and was bitten 4 times on my face. So I bought one of those mosquito traps. It was a bit pricey but it seems like the only thing that may help. |

| Yes, we do have a mosquito control program in Brevard county. It even has it's own taxing authority. I'm guessing you live on the mainland or near a rural area? Those area seem to have a bigger problem than the barrier islands. You have to expect some bugs no matter how often they spray. This whole area was once called Mosquito county for a reason. |
