Please vote: Saturday, November 3rd or Sunday, November 4th

(it's The Bears bye week.)

Yes, there will be swapping and barbecue, but I'm trying to schedule a speaker, someone who is an expert in plant propagation and I'll obviously need to tell my speaker the date. I have two different people in mind; you won't want to miss either of them! Along with pulled pork, I'm also going to do Jamaican Jerk Chicken - whole chickens and some wings - in the smoker. Yes, you will sweat.

For those of you who are hitting the other swaps prior to this, don't feel bad if you run out of plants. I know I will and doubt I'll have much to give away. This is a party, come for the eats, come for what should be a most informative talk and demonstration, and come to just hang with the gang.

As we're into the late fall, cool evenings and all that, we welcome you to stay for sunset cocktails.

Sheesh, Ricky, I am still trying to get my SuperliciousSwapSoiree for Sept. 2nd noticed and you are 2 miles ahead of us!! Bring Karen to Fort Myers, please. You owe me a visit. I been to your home twice! And I loved every minute of each visit.
Nov. Hopefully, pray to God, November will be my 1st surgery month. So I can not plan to join you....wimper, sniff...CRAP! Oh Wait...surgery=the possibility of walking better than the tin man?? YUP that's a good thing!

cindee - We're don't come back from Jamaica until September 4th. We'll get to you one of these days, Karen wants to go to the 'other' coast for a long weekend.

Oh Excuuuuuuse me Ricky-the-world-traveler!! LOL It's a perfectly GOOD excuse this time. I hope you guys have a ball. I admire your worldly life. It shows so much in your beautiful home full of harmony and travel and music. You are a truly fascinating and talented couple. I'll give you another chance!

Sunday would be my preference, but I would move the world to attend one of Ricky's & Karen's Swap-a-que (I dream of the pull pork and the barbeque sauce -- oh man, I'm hungry just thinking about it!!)
