Harbinger of rain

I took this picture yesterday of my largest clump of rain lilies along the driveway. They were letting us know the rains of Ernesto were on the way. We didn't get as much rain as predicted, but we did get some along with gusting winds.

This morning on the news I heard "Ernesto was a busto". Later on it became a tropical depression. Now we can get back to our normal living.
