Hi to all my garden web friends. It's been a long time, and I've missed you all. I'm in gradschool now, closing in on a master's degree, though that's just another milestone on the way to being Dr. AmberSky, so things won't be slowing down for me any time soon. :/

On the other hand, I have a 4 year old granddaughter and another on the way to help me slow down and appreciate the blooms. LIttle Miss Arabella is quite the garden fairy, and she says that the "matanical garden" (USF's Botanical garden) is her "favorite place." Today I gave her a plumeria bloom and when I asked her if she wanted me to put it in her hair, she held it to her nose and said "No, I want it right here!" A girl after her Amma's heart.
