Missing you

Sorry I have been absent for a while but I have had my world turned upside down. I was diagnosed with end stage renal disease in August and been growing accustomed to dialysis and the knowledge I will not be returning to work. I have not worked since August and things are tight around here. I am awaiting SSDI so we will see. I can no longer grow tomatoes because I can no longer eat them so I am going to become the herb and pepper queen. I will be growing many vatieties of peppers from mild to smoking hot. Herbs will be of all kinds since I have learned to season with herbs and spices instead of salt. Life is really different now but it is an exiting new change or at least that is what I am telling myself. I hope to be back soon to post more and chat. Love all of you, Linda

Linda! I was wondering why we haven't heard a lot from you this year. I love your attitude..."an exciting new challenge." Bravo for you. That takes much humility to let go and make the most of each moment as it comes. Ill be sending warm thoughts to you as I garden. And may your peppers be smokin!

I failed to read the dates (nearly a year ago) on Linda and Gary's messages above. I miss Linda's warm and eager sharing with us of her thoughts on living and gardening.

I am back after battling my own self pity and attempt to wrap my head around everything. I am back to being me and I have energy and am interested in gardening once again. Life has been rough but I refuse to allow it to best me. Thanks for all the warm wishes and thoughts and for missing me.
