I have a rooted no id brug if you're interested. I got it in a trade and they did not know anything about it. It was growing great and then last years freeze was coming. I ran out and got a cutting just in case. The freeze killed the main one back to the ground but it came back...then we got a freeze this year and same thing happened...so the poor thing has never bloomed. But the cutting I took is still in it's cup and doing great. I'd be interested in the michelia if you want to trade.
Any chance you're coming to the Tampa Swap in April? We can trade then if you want.

I honestly have no experience on propagating it. Last night I stuck some pieces into a pot of soil for the first time ever, just in case I need to ever replace the mother plant. I really can't imagine it being any more difficult than that. It's got all those little "root bumps" along it's stems were the roots come out of on Brugs. I can send you enough for both soil and water propagating.
