WANTED: Bromeliad Billbergia Nutans (Queens Tears or Friendship

I would love a small clump of Queens Tears or Friendship Plant (Billbergia 'Nutans'). It is a bromeliad with grasslike leaves. Below is a link to Google Images. I am thinking just a small clump that could be mailed in a padded envelope.

I have tons of plants and seeds to exchange. Let me know what you are interested in that could be likewise sent in a padded mailer.

I have quite a bit of this bromeliad. Some of the things that I'm interested in are any unusual irises, hurricane lilies, unusual bulbs, bromeliads, and pitcher plants.

Hi Kara,

Thanks for your response! There are so many different varieties of Billbergia Nutans/Queens Tear - is yours the one with the green grass-like leaves? That's the one I am looking for. I have a plant with a similar bloom but looks rather ugly - see photos at the link below - so I am looking for the one with the green grass-like leaves. :)

Here is a link to a photo of one like I want:

By the way, I was not able to respond to you privately via email. You have your settings such that I cannot send you an email. I can only respond by posting online. But maybe that is the way you like it. :)

Are you interested in epiphyllum (orchid cactus), ric rac (fishbone) orchid cactus, rain lilies, Christmas cactus, caladium bulbs, St. Christopher lilies (Crinum jagus), Ellen Bosanquet crinum lily, Queen Emma crinum lily? That is a list for starters... I'm trying to think of plants that could go in a padded mailer so that we both incur similar shipping costs. If you do have the plant I want, about how many clusters can you spare? I would be happy with just one rooted pup.

Thanks again for your time and consideration!

This listing is closed. I had a great exchange with Karalynn and got some beautiful clumps of this brom!
