Stephen Brown, Horticultural Agent of South Florida says now is the time to start fertilizing citrus. Tom MacCubbin, Horticultural Agent for Central Florida only mentions doing a pruning at this moment. 9b is technically Central Florida, but I think that zone can sometimes push South Florida growing methods. So up to you sort of. If you feel you're close enough to Zone 10, you can start your fertilizing. If you want to err on the side of caution, I would wait another month at least before starting the fertilizer regimen. And personally, with the way this winter is going, I plan on starting mine around the second week of February unless something crops up in the forecasts.

Thank you Leekle...I went ahead and sprinkled some on...I noticed my Meyer lemon is getting a ton of blooms...Not sure if this is normal or not but figure I might as well take advantage of the rain forecast for tomorrow and put some fertilizer down :o)
