Chinese forget-me-not?

Forgive me, but wildflowers are frequently considered weeds - the difference is all in the eyes of the beholder.

It looks to me like wild chicory. With luck it will send up pretty pale blue flowers.

Follow up question, I bought a bad of the "wild flower" seed in spring and never planted them, was going to wait until this coming spring, they should be fine until then, right?

Most should still be good. Depending on the plant, seeds can last days or years before germinating. I was watching "A Year at Kew" the other day and in one episode, someone had found 200 yr old African seeds. Using incubators, scarification and a 'smoke' liquid, they managed to germinate about half of the seeds. So one year for your wildflower seeds isn't too terribly long!

Though, I would spread them in the garden now. Let them go through the rest of the winter so that when the spring rains come, they will be ready to grow.

ummm, so I guess I better get back to figuring out where I should put them. I wanted them along a fence but have found that the back fence line is super shady and I think they will need more sun when they are growing.
