Does anyone successfully grow Strawberries in around St Pete or similar zones? I know it's late to plant but I placed an order in Oct with Willis and just canceled it since I still hadn't received my plants. Does anyone have a good place to buy them from. Please help.

I'm in Lutz. I bought bare root plants at Parksdale Farm Market (Plant City) back in October. The first berries are beginning to ripen.

The commercial strawberry farm up the road has been picking since Thanksgiving.

I got mine from Parksdale too. They were 25 for around $7. They have been doing well so far. I only lost 1 out of 125 plants. The first berries started to ripen about 2 weeks ago.
