Hi,everyone !
A cousin, has given me a canistel fruit tree. It is very young. Has any one on the forum, had any experience with this fruit tree? I have gotten some information, from the Webb but would like to know your experience. I'm in zone 9,near the Villages.

countrynest,
I bought two small canistel fruit trees this past summer to grow them here in my greenhouse. You will have to protect the tree from frost as it is a tropical tree. I have no other info to offer you as I'm just starting out with them too. I'm also in zone 9, but I'm not near anything, nothing, nada!

Click here. I've never grown one, but it should survive in zone 9.

Hi. We grew some canistel about 2-1/2 times bigger than usual and I uploaded the photos to superfoodgrower.com/garden.html along with some other tree photos we grew. I'm planting more canistels too.

Here is a link that might be useful: Giant Canistels
