the saga continues..more bag trials

I have my bags hanging on the fence and as I looked at them, I decided I am going to try cukes and gourds and maybe even pole beens.
My fence is 6 feet tall. So I think I will throw a half dozen pole beans in a bag and hang it on the fence and see what happens. [the rest will go in a bucket in front of the trellis just in case it doesnt work. lol

That way I wont be bean-less.

I APPRECIATE ALL THE WONDERFUL INPUT. THIS Is my first year growing from seed. I am realizing it is an ongoing learning experience of trial and error, and you have to have the courage to try something new. Yall are INSPIRING!!

Actually that sounds like a really good idea. If the bags hold together well and drain properly. You may need to tie the fruits of the cucumbers and gourds to the fence to reduce the weight on the bags. I hope it works out for you.
