Mushroom Compost Update

Monterey Mushroom Farm in Zellwood has made some changes in their compost sales. You can now only purchase it on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The price is $10 for a pickup truck or trailer load. The gal also recommended calling first to make sure they have some.

Monterey Mushroom farm is located on Sadler Road (between Hwy 441 and Round Lake Rd.) in Zellwood.

Me too Ariel. I threw a rod in my last truck and traded it in on the cash for clunkers program.

I heard that you can rent a pickup truck from places like Home Depot and Uhaul for about $20 a day. I'm going to look into it. I can usually do about two loads in a day before this ole gal runs out of steam. Still a good price!
