Without an idea of what your house looks like, the direction it faces, and the overall feeling you're after... we can only throw out "colors."
The Landscape Design forum is great for this type of thing. (Yardvaark over there is a WHIZ... and he's in Florida, too!)
They can suggest specific plants and placements.

Thanks. The house faces west abd the front get sun all afternoon. I planted the dates Nd just this past seeks the arbicola a d the wueen palms.

i do have a row of Oleanders slong a fence for privacy ill have to trimm it this year.
Heres the backyard. Gets morning sun. Mostly lawn with plants around te edge.

When using photobucket, you want to copy and past the HTML code, not the IMG code.

Try Tibouchina, also known as princess flower, Cape honeysuckle, passion flower vines, Crape Myrtle Trees, or Knockout roses, and for fillers and borders Gazanias, flax lily, and Liriope. All are growing well in my 9b yard. Coleus adds color, too.
