I sure hope it's not too late! I still have to plant mine! (Planned for this week, actually). Last year I started mine indoors Jan 15-30, and they were perhaps a bit overgrown by the time I set them out. But they all gave me tomatoes by June. Go for it! :-) Eileen

I generally start my seeds around Valentine Day and they are ready for planting near Easter which is when I always plant my tomatoes in Orlando. I do have several already growing outside with flowers and fruit setting but they are my cherries and plums. Linda

It is probably optimal to start earlier, but give it a try anyway. Perfection is overrated. Plant some now and save some for the fall.

Thank you Eileen, I think I will go for it Linda,if yours are already blooming when did you plant them? I'm getting educated here. :o) Amberroses, That is a great idea, I only received 8 seeds so hopefuly at least 2 will make it so can have more seed. (these are heirloom) I read that the heirlooms aren't heavy producers. So we'll see. Thanks , Carmen

Hi Carmen Would you like some more heirloom seeds? Eight isn't very many, y'know! Send me an email with your address and I will share some of my stash. Then you will have plenty for fall planting, too. Susie |
