| Kinda hard to tell w/ that small, blurry pic, but it does look a lot like the perennial arugula I grow. When it blooms, flowers are bright yellow. |

| My arugula leaves look similar to that, but they spread out along a more elongated stem. Yours looks to be growing in a rosette, like a dandelion. John |

| FWIW, mine will have variations in growth & sometimes does form flat rosettes..... |

| I Have a similar weed that grows in my yard It has a peppery flavor similar to Arugula though stronger. It seems to thrive in dry conditions. I never thought about adding it to salads. |

| Without a pic, it's difficult to guess, but if the seedlings look like arugula, it may be 'peppergrass' - a weed that's also in the mustard family & edible
Another possibility may be 'hawksbeard', which is in the lettuce family, I believe |
